Cedar Park

Adored by many, Cedar Park has excellent schools (LeanderISD) including Austin Community College, movie theaters, shopping malls and strip centers as well as a variety of entertainment and shopping venues.

Sixteen Miles NW of Austin off Highway 183 Cedar Park was established in 1873, formed by the Ranch of George and Harriet Cluck.   The city was named after the parklike surroundings of his home which included a heavily flowing spring called Running Brushy Creek.  With 78,693 people, Cedar Park is the 52nd most populated city in the state of Texas out of 1,805 cities per Census 2020.  Adored by many, Cedar Park has excellent schools (LeanderISD) including Austin Community College, movie theaters, shopping malls and strip centers as well as a variety of venues including the HEB Center, home to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League and the Austin Spurs of the NBA G League.

Offering a variety of affordable housing alternatives and planned communities, Austinites are drawn to Cedar Park due to it's proximity to wonderful Hill Country and access to Lake Travis in approximately 32 minutes per google maps.
